Moore discusses how he gave up his studies to read the Greek New Testament (made by Lucian of Antioch), Homer, and other Latin authors. He mentions Mr. Collins' academy in "Indian Land," but says he isn't familiar with the type of science that is taught there. He mentions looking into studying Hebrew grammar.
