Dr. Cady read an extract from “Southern Journal”, in answer to a slur in “Courier Journal', on Mrs. Henry's Pamphlet. In which it was suggested that if the Women of Kentucky are as noble as the Women of other states, that the “Courier Journal[”] should demand that they be given the same rights that the men have.

“Woman Suffrage in Fact,” was read by Mrs. Rogers, giving testimony to the success of woman suffrage in Kansas.

A motion was made by Mrs. Johnson that the meetings should be continued semi-monthly, on the first and third Friday afternoon. Seconded and carried. The meeting was then adjourned.

October 18th

There not being a quorum present, no regular business was transacted. Among the matters informally discussed was that of the Louisville Asso. undertaking to have another thousand of Mrs. Henry's Married Woman's Property Rights pamphlets printed; and the best methods for raising funds to meet the expense.
