Vanzant writes to the Home regarding his three children- aged 3, 7, and 12 years- asking what it would "cost me per week to have three children taken care of." He says that his wife is "very low and the physicians say she cant live a great while." He doesn't want the children to be adopted out; rather he wants the Home to take care of the children until he can himself. Handwritten, "Rules explained." Letter marked Edmonton, KY.
