Subject

Description

Letter to Miss Hallie Lee Cawbs of Lou, Kentucky (presumably Louisville) from D. P. Browning informing her that Frank Bell "had not the home you doubtless think he has." He had been informed by a Dr. K. P. Sultan, who was informed by sister W. K. Peurad of Cloverbrook, Kentucky, the wife of Brother Purrad. Brother Purrad says that Mrs. Peurad's sister married into the Moore family. Mr. Moore is said to have wanted the boy "more for a slave than a child." Letter written from Lewisburg, Kentucky.
