Minutes of Called Meeting, Nov. 28th [1890]
This meeting was called for the purpose of appointing delegates to the State Convention.
After the usual devotional exercises, the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. A letter from the absent Treasurer was read, expressing regret that illness preventer her attendance and stating that the annual dues of this Association had been forwarded to the State Treasurer, and her receipt received for same.
The President read a letter from the President of the State Association giving programme for the three days of the Convention, and requesting that it be published in Louisville papers. Mrs. Johnson, being chairman of the Press Committee, was instructed to attend tothe publication of the programme.
Mrs Johnson read a letter from Lucy Anthony relating to a proposed lecture tour of this state by the Rev. Anna H. Shaw. The lecturer could arrange dates in February if guaranteed the expenses of the tour. The President recommended that this business should be brought before the Convention.
The President then appointed Mrs. Johnson as delegate to the State Con[vention]
