Derby Day, ca. 1955

Black and white print of the Kentucky Derby race at Churchill Downs by William Kent Hagerman. The etching was commissioned by the Libery National Bank and Trust Company in 1955. William Kent Hagerman was from Lakeland, FL, and his works were shown at the Denver Museum, Toledo Museum, Cleveland Museum and the Corcoran Galleries among others. His work was primarily etchings of industrial subjects for large corporations.
