Description

Soldiers training for artillery service in World War I at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Lawrence, Indiana.
Jack joined the Officer's Training Corps at Fort Harrison, Indiana in the summer of 1917. He trained with artillery, an assignment he greatly preferred over infantry work. Soon after arriving at camp, Jack wrote to his parents and requested that they send his Kodak camera.
