Letter to a Miss Hallie Le Cawbs from D. P. Browing in Lewisburg, Kentucky. Browning writes that Mr. Henry Rogers, who has written to Dr. Burton to adopt a child from the Home, is a "consistent member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church." He writes that Rogers treated his daughter with "the kindness of a father so far as I know." Now that his daughter has married he wants another. Browning writes that he "doesn't think you can find better homes for your children," and that G. F. Sutton can provide further reference.
