    J. A. Kritley writes to Weller on behalf of Jerald, a poor single man with several small children. Jerald wishes to "relinquish" his youngest child, a boy, to the Home, as he "has hard work to make a living for them; and to take proper care of them." Jerald cannot write, so Kritley has prepared the papers for him and gotten his "mark." Letter not marked with location.
