Pierce writes to Hollingsworth that Hudspeth- whom he wrote to the Home on behalf of on 23 July 1891- has adopted two children (not sure if one boy and one girl or two boys) from the Home and that he has been told "they are being treated very badly." He says they are "not clothed fit to go to church or school," and to verify the facts with J. E. Stephenson, J. W. Mabry, and Dr. P. Campbell. Letter marked Marion, KY.
