Myra Rosen moved to Louisville with her husband, Bernie, when he expressed a desire to open his own business. The daughter of Russian and Romanian immigrant parents, she spoke English at home. She attended Sunday school primarily to find boys, all of whom she dated were Jewish. Her parents were members of a Temple and she was confirmed, observing Passover and noting celebrations of that particular holiday were especially warm. Beyond that, she was not extremely religious. She loves traveling, art, music, and making and recalling Christmas memories. Advice she would like to pass on to her loved ones and children is to keep an open mind in all things.
