Printed at the bottom left is "Royal Photo Co." and at the bottom right is "Joseph & Joseph Archts. Engrs." The print is inscribed in handwriting by Joseph Kaplan, president of the JCC from 1955 (when the JCC opened) to 1958, to Pauline Pearson (1914-1994), longtime executive secretary to the presidents of the JCC and of its forerunner the Young Men's Hebrew Association (YMHA): "Pauline - To Miss J.C.C.—you are not only part of our hearts but of this fine organization & what it represents. Thanks from all of us for your tireless effective work & the wonderful spirit in which it was so generously done. Joe Kaplan."
